UK regional airline Loganair is introducing two new discounted fares on the routes which are most popular with business travellers.
The new flexible Business Connect fare allows passengers to book a minimum of five flights in advance to receive a 15 per cent discount with the ability to change dates at any time.
They also receive airport fast-track security access and 23 kilogrammes of hold luggage allowance, as well as loyalty points.
The fare is being introduced on five domestic routes: Edinburgh–Southampton, Glasgow-Southampton, Aberdeen-Teesside, Aberdeen-Manchester and Aberdeen-Birmingham.
Loganair has also launched a Business Connect + fare on these routes, which allows organisations to book a minimum of ten flights with the same benefits, but they also receive full name flexibility so that any employee from within the company can travel.
The Scotland-based airline said that these new business fares were likely to be “particularly popular” with SMEs looking for savings on travel this winter.
Donna McHugh, Loganair’s head of revenue and sales, added: “Business Connect really allows us to better target our smaller and medium sized enterprises and offers them flexibility and discounted rates on select routes.
“We recognise that our business partners are looking for more flexibility in the way they book and often want to book several flights at the same time too – this product allows them to do just that.”
