LOT, the Polish flagship carrier has become the second European carrier to order the new Embraer 170 regional jet. It will aquire 10 aircraft with options for another 11, first deliveries due in 2004. LOT already flies 14 Embraer ERJ 145 aircraft, the aircraft first introduced in 1999. The new Embraer 170 fleet will help LOT expand its impressive regional network at its Warsaw hub by providing more seat capacity and aircraft range to access new markets.
