LOT Polish Airlines is adding a new central Asian destination with flights to Almaty in Kazakhstan in spring 2026.
The carrier will launch the service from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Almaty on 31 May. It will operate four times per week during the summer season and then three times weekly in the following winter season.
Almaty will be LOT’s second destination in Kazakhstan, as it already operates flights to the country’s capital Astana.
Flights will be served by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft and will operate from Warsaw on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Robert Ludera, director of the network department at LOT, said: “Kazakhstan, as the largest economy in Central Asia and one of Poland’s key trading partners in that area, is an excellent destination for our passengers thinking about expanding their businesses.”
