BTN Europe presents an overview of business travel and MICE predictions for this year
ExCeL London - 24-25 February 2021
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has contracted Japan-based Jamco Group to supply its new World Business Class seats.
The seats will feature in eight of KLM’s new 787-10 Dreamliners, which are due to be delivered from June next year.
The ‘Venture’ seats are lighter than previous models, which KLM says will reduce fuel consumption. They will be configured in a fishbone layout to make “more effective utilisation of the available space”, according to the airline.
All 38 World Business Class seats in the new Dreamliners will offer direct aisle access and will feature 18.5-inch entertainment screens and a “do not disturb” button on the armrest.
