Jet2 says it is suspending flights until 25 March because of “the ongoing uncertainty and travel restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic”.
The low-cost carrier operates services from airports around the UK including Glasgow to Prague and Rome, Birmingham to Budapest and its home base of Leeds Bradford to Paris and Barcelona.
The airline said it would automatically cancel affected bookings and give a full refund.
It said in a statement, “Since the onset of the pandemic, we have always respected that customers should receive their money back if we have not provided their flight…We know that customers will remember this approach, and the way we have looked after them will play an important part in our long-term strategy to continue to grow successfully.”
