Sabre Corporation has implemented its Branded Fares solution for Hong Kong Airlines, allowing travel management companies to create tailored offers for clients.
The solution allows airlines to merchandise their exclusive products to travellers in new ways. TMCs can use it to build personalised offers, with cross-sell and upsell opportunities. It provides travel buyers and sellers with enhanced fare functionality at ‘the most optimal price’, according to Sabre.
Wayne Wang, assistant director of commercial at Hong Kong Airlines, commented: “Our expanded partnership with Sabre is directly in line with our business strategy to ensure that travellers and agents interact with the Hong Kong Airlines brand. With this new solution, our brand will remain visible throughout the entire booking process, which is particularly important as we continue to increase our regional and global flight routes, including long-haul service from Hong Kong to destinations like Vancouver, Los Angeles and San Francisco.”
Rakesh Narayanan, vice president of air line of business at Sabre Travel Network Asia Pacific, added: “As Hong Kong Airlines brings its compelling, branded content to online travel agencies and more than 425,000 travel agents on Sabre’s leading global travel marketplace, they will increase the visibility and variety of its offers. Adopting the Sabre Branded Fares solution will support their business objectives and generate incremental revenue for the airline.”
