Gulf Air has increased its services from Europe by adding new flights from Manchester and Nice to Bahrain.
The Middle Eastern carrier started twice-weekly flights between Manchester and Bahrain on 1 June, using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. The service operates on Sunday and Wednesday.
Waleed Al Alawi, Gulf Air’s acting CEO, said: “Manchester has been on our horizon for a while due to our customers’ demand; and as travel bounces back to normality, we knew it was the right time to launch it.”
Gulf Air is also now flying from the southern French city of Nice to Bahrain, via Milan, twice per week using Airbus 321neo aircraft. The service will operate on Sunday and Thursday.
“It is very exciting for the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain to reach further places and connect multiple cities in the east and the west to its hub in Bahrain,” added Al Alawi.
