GLOBESPAN AIRWAYS, which claims to be Scotland”s first no frills airline, takes to the air tomorrow (Tuesday) with a flight from Prestwick to Palma. Boeing 737-300 aircraft are to be used by the long established Edinburgh based tour operator with flights also to Nice, Rome and Malaga and from Edinburgh to Palma, Nice, Barcelona and Malaga. The new airline will build on the successes of the company's highly popular Edinburgh to Nice scheduled service which ran throughout summer 2002, with occupancy rates of more than 80%.
