Malaysia Airlines and Garuda Indonesia have resumed their codeshare agreement on flights between Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta.
The deal gives customers of both airlines a wider option of flights to choose from.
Malaysia Airlines currently flies 49 times weekly to and from Jakarta. With the establishment of this codeshare, flights to and from Jakarta will amount to 63 times weekly.
Along with the codeshare on Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta flights, the two airlines may expand the agreement to other destinations in Indonesia including Medan and Denpasar.
To promote the codeshare, MAS is now offering return fares to Jakarta starting from RM504 (US$153) for economy class, and RM1802 (US$549) for business. All prices are inclusive of tax.
