GB AIRWAYS, the British Airways franchise carrier yesterday (Sunday 3 November) launched its inaugural scheduled service between Gatwick and Almeria. Through the winter, the airline will offer twice-weekly flights on Thursday and Sunday. A further flight, on a Tuesday, will be added in March with morning departures. The majority of services will operate on a new fleet of189-seat Airbus A321 aircraft, which offer greater passenger comfort, with leather seats throughout and a minimum seat pitch of 31 inches.
