FLYBE say that they have picked up a ”substantial number” of disgruntled passengers who had originally booked on the proposed Buzz services out of Bournemouth, now scrapped by Ryanair. Many are thought to be passengers who would not have considered Southampton Airport as their UK departure point. By the end of the year the airline will be serving 11 destinations from the central southern airport. First off, on 30 March, are new services to Dublin, Jersey, Milan (Bergamo) and Geneva. http://www.flybe.com
