WATERFORD AIRPORT, 140 miles south of Dublin and 60, somewhat tortuous miles north of Cork and its own airport, will probably not now close following its only operator Euroceltic Airways” decision to keep its Waterford ” Luton route open. The airline will now operate a Fokker 50 service on Monday, Wednesday and Friday until the end of the winter season and then revert to daily flights.
