Etihad Airways is increasing flights between its Abu Dhabi base and Bangkok to meet “high demand” for travel to Thailand’s capital.
The Gulf airline will double frequency on the Abu Dhabi-Bangkok route by offering two flights per day from 26 March 2023. Flights will offer both economy and business class cabins.
Arik De, chief revenue officer at Etihad Airways, stressed the “optimised” timings of the new flights for travellers going in both directions, as well as “more convenient” connections to and from Thailand.
The airline is also continuing its global cabin crew recruitment drive in January as demand for travel continues to rebound following the pandemic. Crew will be based in Abu Dhabi and benefits include being provided with fully furnished accommodation in the emirate.
