Emirates has announced it will resume its signature A380
service to Heathrow and Paris on 15 July, marking the aircraft’s first time in
the sky since the coronavirus pandemic forced the airline to ground its
passenger fleet in March.
The news comes after the announcement that Dubai will reopen
to international business and leisure visitors from 7 July with new air travel safety
protocols.
In addition to the restart of A380 services, Emirates will
launch flights to Dhaka from 24 June and Munich from 15 July using its Boeing
777-300ER aircraft.
Emirates has been adding services back into its network over
the past month and is also set to resume flights to Auckland, Beirut, Brussels,
Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Barcelona and Washington DC in July.
