Emirates has announced that it is to add additional flights to Birmingham and Glasgow, together with increased services to London and Manchester after the addition of the United Arab Emirates to the UK’s travel corridor list at the weekend.
The change means that people arriving in the UK from the UAE no longer need to self-isolate for 14 days.
The airline said it would operate four times daily services with an Airbus A380 to London Heathrow from 27 November and six times a week to Manchester from 2 December.
Emirates will also increase flights to Birmingham and Glasgow from the current four-a-week to daily services to both cities, from 27 November and 1 December respectively.
UK travellers heading to the UAE must take a Covid-19 PCR test 96 hours in advance of their flight, or take a test on arrival in Dubai.
