With Flybe”s virtual abandonment of Bristol (it is just left with the Jersey services following the takeover of BA Connect)), easyJet is stepping up its offering
New from October are thrice-weekly flights to Warsaw, while Paris Charles de Gaulle has a second daily flight starting Tuesday, 8 May. Departures to CDG, with its excellent rail connections to central Paris, are 07:30 and 14:00. Return departures are 10:30 and 16:50, making a one-day business trip possible.
Bristol International Airport aviation development director, Tony Hallwood said: "We are excited by the introduction of Warsaw to our list of international destinations. As one of Europe's fastest-growing capital cities it will be a magnet for the short-break leisure traveller as well as opening up new business links between Bristol and Poland.
”This route will also attract a significant number of in-bound visitors to the region, many of whom will be visiting Poles living and working here. Equally good news is the increased frequency on easyJet's Paris service, which addresses demand on this key route, particularly from the South West's business community."
With the start of the new service, easyJet will serve 32 destinations from Bristol.
