AMSTERDAM AIRPORT”s popular Dutch National Aviation Museum, the 'Aviodome', is in the process of moving to a new location. At some point during the summer of 2003 a brand new Aviation Theme Park named 'Aviodrome' will open its doors at Lelystad Airport, 45 miles, or about an hour”s drive north east of Schiphol. Much larger than the old museum the new theme park will feature an interactive overview of the Dutch history of flight, showing Anthony Fokker's legacy at its best. The building will house a large exhibition plus a 250-seat cinema, a restaurant, congress facilities and the museum shop. The museum's Douglas DC-2 and Lockheed Constellation will both be taking the skies from the Lelystad runways. http://www.aviodome.nl
