Delta Air Lines has announced it will increase the frequency of its flights from both Detroit and Portland, Oregon to London from next summer.
During summer 2019, the airline will offer a twice-daily service from Detroit to Heathrow, while flights from Portland International airport will increase from three or four times weekly to a daily service.
Roberto Ioriatti, VP – transatlantic at Delta, commented: “We hear from customers all over the US that access to London is very important to them. And Delta is happy to answer their needs by expanding additional choice through our Detroit hub with a second daily, and from the US West Coast at Portland through daily service next summer.”
In addition to more frequent London flights, Delta is launching non-stop flights between Boston and Lisbon on 23 May.
