DELTA AIR LINES will begin to restore most of the scheduled international and domestic services, which had been suspended in April and May in response to declining passenger demand due to military action in Iraq.
The schedule for June will reflect a 7% reduction from Delta's original mainline capacity plans, compared to 2% in May.
In June, Delta will resume its regular scheduled service from New York JFK to Athens, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Madrid, Nice, Rome and Venice.
Delta will also reinstate service between Atlanta and Madrid, its second flight between Atlanta and Frankfurt, and its third flight between Atlanta and Gatwick.
It will however continue to suspend its New York-JFK to Milan flight, one of two JFK to Paris-Charles de Gaulle flights, and its service between Atlanta and Barcelona, due to continued soft demand.
Delta will serve Milan from Atlanta and Barcelona from New York-JFK.
