CONTINENTAL AIRLINES last week introduced non-stop flights between the airline's New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport, and Geneva. The new service is the only direct link between two of the world”s major cities. Continental, which operates more than 350 daily flights at Liberty, has flown daily non-stop services to Zurich since June 1999. Continental is operating a 174-seat Boeing 767-200 aircraft on the Geneva route, carrying 25 customers in BusinessFirst and 149 in coach. Flying time is approximately seven and a half hours eastbound and nine hours westbound. The 1050 departure from Geneva arrives at 1350 local Newark allowing for good connections with an extensive network of services throughout the US, Canada and Latin America. http://www.continental.com
