CHINA AIRLINES, the Taiwanese carrier has placed orders with both Airbus and Boeing for new aircraft. For the European consortium the commitment is for 12 A330s for delivery from 2004, replacing older A300s. With Boeing the airline is adding four more 747 freighters, bringing its total to 20.
