China Southern Airlines is to introduce a new European route between Frankfurt and Shenyang from next month.
The Chinese carrier is adding a weekly stop at Shenyang in China’s northeast Liaoning province on one of its existing flights between Frankfurt and Guangzhou from 24 April.
China Southern currently flies non-stop three times per week between Frankfurt and Guangzhou. The airline will add the stop in Shenyang for departures from Guangzhou to Germany on Wednesday, and for return flights from Frankfurt on Thursday.
The other services between Frankfurt and Guangzhou will continue to operate non-stop twice per week.
The airline is also planning to resume flights between Guangzhou and San Francisco from 6 April after a gap of four years due to the pandemic.
