Corporate travel provider CTI has announced that it has made its first New Distribution Capability (NDC) booking with British Airways.
NDC bookings are made through CTI’s online booking tool PLANNET, which offers clients additional pricing content for BA as well as access to value ancillaries and branded fares.
CTI says it worked closely with BA to map, test and deliver NDC capability early in its evolution. The first NDC booking was made on 17 July.
Clive Wratten, CEO of CTI, said: “We are delighted to have made our first NDC booking with British Airways and we look forward to working with them closely to ensure CTI’s clients take advantage of the great content and many exciting opportunities NDC brings.”
Nicola Ping, distribution technology manager at BA, added: “We are delighted to welcome CTI to our growing community of NDC-enabled agents. From today, CTI will be able to offer the benefits of NDC to its customers, including access to additional short-haul fares and ancillaries such as seat reservations and pre-order catering.”
