British Airways is suspending the Gatwick to Tunis route from the start of the 2013/14 winter season because the flights are not profitable.
The five-times weekly service will stop operating on October 25. Passengers booked to fly on the route after this date are being offered a full refund.
The only other scheduled carrier to fly from London to Tunis is Tunisair which operates five times per week from Heathrow.
The airline said in a statement: "The flights are being suspended because they don't make a profitable contribution to our business. We are always reviewing our route network to ensure it is in line with the needs of our customers."
Meanwhile BA is to increase its flight frequency between Heathrow and Hyderabad from six weekly to daily from October 27.
