Starting from 30 July, services from Norwich, Manchester and London Heathrow, will connect into Aberdeen in time for the 10:25 flight to Kristiansand, arriving at 12:40.
All UK morning flights arrive into Aberdeen with a relatively short connection time, although passengers transiting from Kristiansand to Norwich face a four and a half hour wait at Aberdeen.
”With this rescheduling, we can offer customers a greater choice of connections in Aberdeen, creating what is virtually a mini-hub for flights to Kristiansand from the UK,” said bmi commercial director, Peter Kenworthy.
”As a centre for the oil and shipping industries, we expect our connecting services to Kristiansand to attract a large proportion of business-related traffic, but also to be popular with both the inbound and outbound leisure traveller.”
Bmi regional is also launching a promotion on six of its newest routes this summer ” including Kristiansand ” by offering a 25% discount on return business fares. Routes include Edinburgh-Zurich; Leeds-Bradford-Copenhagen; Leeds-Bradford-Lille; Aberdeen-Brussels; Aberdeen-Kristiansand and Manchester-Lyon.
