BAE SYSTEMS Regional Aircraft Asset Management team chose the ERA gathering for a series of announcements. CityJet, the Irish-based, Air France owned regional carrier is leasing a further BAe 146-200 to bring their fleet up to eight. Another existing customer West Air Sweden adding a further aircraft to its eight-strong ATP fleet. Origin Pacific Airways, an independent New Zealand airline, is expanding its Jetstream fleet accepting the first of three additional Jetstream 32EPs. Based at Nelson, South Island, Origin Pacific also operates five Jetstream 41s on its own provincial network and offers code sharing services on behalf of Qantas. Svenska DirektFlyg AB has leased an eighth Jetstream 32 whilst Canadian operator Northwestern recently purchased two Jetstream 31s to expand its scheduled and charter network based in Ft Smith, in the North West Territories.
