BA CityFlyer has suspended the operation of services from Manchester and Stansted from 29 March to 31 October 2021.
The carrier, a wholly owned subsidiary of British Airways, normally operates services using Embraer aircraft from Manchester to London City, Nice, Florence, Ibiza, Mykonos, Malaga, Alicante and Palma and from Stansted to Berlin, Florence, Malaga, Faro, Ibiza, Mykonos and Palma.
Passengers on Stansted services will have to rebook onto BA Cityflyer services from London City or BA mainline services from Heathrow. Passengers on Manchester services will have to reroute via London.
However, the passenger will be responsible for additional costs for travel to and from the original points, including consequential costs, such as car hire and hotels.
