AURIGNY, the Channel Islands carrier, is to operate a pure jet aircraft for the first time this summer. In a major move for the UK”s smallest serious airlines, the world”s largest BN Trislander operator, a BAe 146-200 is to be made available during the peak summer months to operate three rotations on Saturday and Sunday between Manchester and Guernsey and a single rotation each weekend day from Stansted to Guernsey. Normally the routes are serviced on a daily basis by a Saab 340 turboprop.
