ALGERIA is to continue its relationship with Oxford Aviation Training (the former OATS) with a contract by the air force for 50 fixed wing pilots and 12 advanced helicopter pilots. In addition the school has been commissioned by the Algerian security and police forces to provide all training for a newly formed observer wing which utilises Twin Squirrel helicopters and will also be co-operating with the Algerian CAA in the implementation of an Algerian commercial helicopter licence.
