After receiving special permission from the government of
Latvia, airBaltic has announced it will resume direct flights from Riga to
Amsterdam on 25 May, Hamburg on 1 June, Vienna on 8 June and Dusseldorf on 9
June.
AirBaltic began reinstating flights earlier this week with
the resumption of services from Riga to Tallinn and Vilnius on 18 May, and it
also plans to restart its Helsinki, Munich and Berlin routes soon.
CEO Martin Gauss said all passengers will be provided with a
facemask and disinfectant wipes to use throughout their journey, with flight
operations following guidelines issued by authorities.
