Canadian airline Air Transat has announced it will resume
flights from the UK to Canada starting Friday. Non-stop services to Toronto
from Gatwick will commence on 24 July, operating three times a week on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday, followed by flights to Toronto from Manchester and
Glasgow on 26 July. Manchester will then operate twice weekly on Thursday and
Sunday and weekly from Glasgow on Tuesdays. All flights will be operated by Air
Transat’s A321neoLR aircraft, with enhanced safety measures introduced,
including the requirement for passengers to wear a face covering throughout the
flight. Face coverings will be provided in a complimentary Traveller Care kit,
which also includes gloves, hand sanitiser and disinfecting wipes.
