Canadian low-cost carrier Air Transat is set to launch flights to six cities in Canada from the UK next summer.
From 1 May, the airline will begin flights from Gatwick to Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal (all daily services) and Calgary (three direct flights and six connections through Toronto). In addition, passengers can connect to flights to Edmonton and Quebec City through Toronto.
Air Transat will also launch direct services from Manchester to Toronto (five flights per week), Vancouver (three direct and six connecting flights through Toronto). The airline also offers connections via Toronto to Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton.
Lastly, passengers in Glasgow can take advantage of five direct flights per week to Toronto, or connections to Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton via the city.
In total, Air Transat will offer 40 direct flights and nearly 60 connecting services from the UK every week.
The airline offers free hot meals and in-flight entertainment in every cabin. Passengers travelling in Club Class (Air Transat’s premium cabin) are also entitled to bring two checked bags.
