AIR SLOVAKIA is to introduce a four times a week flight from Birmingham to Bratislava on 29 June, the first ever direct link to Slovakia's capital city. The flight will connect with another new service to Amritsar, India. The Birmingham ” Bratislavia ” Amritsar operation will provide an important historical link for the Punjabi community living in the UK, with the sacred Indian city deemed to be the centre of the Sikh faith and the site of its holiest shrine ” The Golden Temple.
