AIR LIB, a two-year-old amalgamation Air Liberte, and AOM has been grounded and could be gone, opening up its Orly hub to a host of predators. Air Liberte, previously owned by Swissair, and before that British Airways, mainly flies within Europe (but not to the UK), whilst AOM operates to existing and historical French colonies. The fate of the airline, which employs 3,000 people, now depends on decisions to be made by its directors and a French commercial court. A large Airbus order is dependent on the airline flying. http://www.air-liberte.fr
