Air France is adding a new transatlantic route from Paris to Phoenix in Arizona this summer, which will increase the carrier’s US destinations to 17.
The route from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Phoenix will operate three times per week from 23 May using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
The new US service is in addition to Air France’s resumption of its seasonal summer flights from Paris to Minneapolis on May 13 and extending the route from Paris to Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina, which was launched this winter, through the summer 2024 season.
Paris-Phoenix flights will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with a three-cabin configuration including 228 seats in economy, 21 in premium economy and 30 in business class.
As well as serving 17 US airports, Air France also flies to five destinations in Canada and two in Mexico, including the capital Mexico City.
The carrier is also due to resume flights from Paris to Tel Aviv in Israel later this week following their suspension in early October.
