Air Canada has announced that its summer seasonal service between Ottawa and London Heathrow will extend to a year-round offering.
The service will operate three times weekly during the carrier’s winter schedule, from 2 November 2025 to 27 March 2026. Flights are scheduled to depart London Heathrow at 12:00 on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving at Ottawa International Airport at 14:30. Flight frequency is expected to increase to four time weekly during the summer season, starting 28 March 2026.
Air Canada’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, Mark Galardo, said: "Air Canada continues to solidify its leadership serving our country's capital and we are excited to keep Ottawa connected to one of the world’s most important global gateways all year long.”
Susan Margles, president and CEO of the Ottawa International Airport Authority, added: “In today’s global landscape, strong connections between Canada’s Capital Region and strategic markets like the UK are more vital than ever. Air Canada’s decision to extend its Heathrow-Ottawa service through the winter is great news.”
