PRESTWICK from today gets a new Monday to Friday twice weekdaily air service, Air Caledonian linking the only Scottish airport with its own railway station to Stornoway. On 14 December another twice daily route, to Londonderry, is introduced. Owned by established air taxi company Clasair the airline operates Embraer Bandeirante twin engine 15-passenger turboprops. A tie in with ScotRail offers free return rail tickets from anywhere in Scotland as a bonus.
