Aberdeen airport has been bolstered by the return of easyJet’s route to Manchester this summer, while frequencies to London Gatwick have also been doubled.
EasyJet’s flights from Aberdeen to Manchester will operate five times per week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 28 March to 28 October.
The carrier will also run a double-daily service from Aberdeen to Gatwick during the summer season up to 29 October. EasyJet was previously running a daily flight on this route.
Mark Beveridge, operations director at Aberdeen International, said: “It is great to see easyJet growing its offering and presence at Aberdeen with the seasonal Manchester route returning and the Gatwick service now twice daily.
“Rebuilding our connectivity will play a vital role in supporting the economic recovery of the north-east and we know the Gatwick route has been incredibly popular.”
