Aviation service provider ACC Aviation Group has announced the opening of a US subsidiary in New York.
The move follows a “record year” across all divisions, according to the company, as well as its recent expansion into Asia.
The US team, operating under the name ACC Aviation Inc, will be headed up by Jamie Harris, who is re-joining ACC Aviation following tenures at both Air Charter Service and Chapman Freeborn.
CEO Phil Mathews commented: “The office’s primary focus will be to enhance ACC’s global foothold within the aircraft charter market, utilising our extensive experience in arranging large charter programmes for a broad range of industries, including corporate and government entities, tour operators and professional sports teams, to better serve clients in the region.
“Additionally, our new base in New York will allow us to further develop our supplier relationships and aircraft leasing opportunities in the Americas.
“I am pleased to welcome Jamie, who returns to ACC having worked here in the early days of what was then Air Charter Connections. He has a proven track record within the aircraft charter market in both the UK and US and I am confident that he will prove to be an asset to the organisation and instrumental in our international growth plans.”
Harris added: “I am excited to be returning to ACC at such a pivotal time in the organisation’s journey. I look forward to working with everyone again and to helping ACC expand its global presence and further enhance the company’s international reputation as one of the world’s leading aviation service providers.”
