Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has expanded its portfolio in Germany with the opening of Wyndham Frankfurt Niederrad.
The 146-room property marks the Wyndham brand’s debut in Frankfurt and is operated in partnership with new franchise partner Windmill Niederrad GmbH. The hotel will undergo renovation works over the next 18 months.
Located in the city’s Lyoner Quartier in Niederrad, south of the Main River, the hotel currently offers a bar and restaurant serving local cuisine, a fitness area and three meeting rooms, including a 159-square-metre event space. Frankfurt Airport and the city centre are both approximately 8 kilometres away and are “readily accessible by public transport”, according to Wyndham.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA president Dimitris Manikis said: “With Wyndham Frankfurt Niederrad, we are bringing our namesake Wyndham brand to this city for the first time and expanding our presence in the country alongside a strong new franchise partner. This milestone reinforces our broader strategy of growing Wyndham’s upscale portfolio across Europe through high-quality properties in key destinations.”
The Wyndham-branded portfolio, including Wyndham Grand and Wyndham Garden, now spans more than 60 hotels across 16 countries in Europe.
