Radisson Hotel Group has announced plans for its first Radisson RED property in central London.
The design-led lifestyle brand is set to open a hotel in Leman Street, close to London’s financial district, through a partnership with PPHE Hotel Group.
PPHE is acquiring a mixed-used site which will be developed into a 182-room Radisson RED property. Radisson said the project would focus on sustainability and target an “excellent” BREEAM rating for the development.
The hotel, which will also include a restaurant, bar, gym and office space, is scheduled to open in 2029.
Elie Younes, Radisson’s executive vice president and global chief development officer, said: “This marks our first Radisson RED in central London and reflects our commitment to growing our lifestyle portfolio in key global cities.
“We value our long-standing partnership with PPHE Hotel Group and are grateful for their continued trust in our brands and people.”
Radisson RED already operates properties at London Heathrow Airport and close to the O2 Arena in Greenwich.
