Radisson Collection Hotel, Vadistanbul has opened its doors following an extensive renovation of the property, previously a Radisson Blu Hotel.
The 193-room hotel marks the brand’s debut in Istanbul and the second property in Turkey following the 2021 opening of Radisson Collection Hotel, Bodrum.
Along with two restaurants, meeting facilities at the hotel include a 1,000sqm ballroom and seven meetings rooms. The property is situated within a residential area of wider Istanbul, opposite the Turk Telecom Area, one of the city’s major sports arenas, near the key business district of Maslak and 30km from Istanbul Airport. Vadistanbul’s main boulevard, where the hotel is located, will soon be home to a shopping mall and offices for 20,000 people, according to the hotel group.
Yilmaz Yildirimlar, Radisson’s senior vice president Central, Eastern Europe, Russia & Turkey, said: “The hotel’s strong service standards and our global expertise will bring additional value for its guests looking to travel to Istanbul and city’s prime location. And we proud to reinforce our presence in Istanbul as the largest brand and with an ambition to become the largest operator in the city.”
