Radisson Hotel Group has opened its latest UK property in the Scottish city of Perth.
The 75-room Radisson Blu Hotel, Perth is based within a landmark railway hotel dating from the late 19th century.
The property is situated within landscaped gardens and originally opened as one of the historic British Transport Hotels because of its proximity to the city’s train station.
Facilities include the Victoria restaurant, which is named after Queen Victoria who visited the original hotel on her way to Balmoral Castle. The hotel also features a lobby bar, garden bar, gym, five meeting and conference rooms, and two ballrooms for events, including the largest in Scotland outside Edinburgh.
The opening of the Perth property takes Radisson Blu’s portfolio in Scotland up to seven hotels. It already has a presence in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness.
