Hilton is to introduce its 10th Curio Collection property in London with the signing of its latest hotel.
The Derby London City, Curio Collection by Hilton, which is due to open in early 2026 in London’s financial district, will join existing Curio properties such as Lost Property St Paul’s and The Trafalgar St James.
The hotel in Great Tower Street will offer 237 rooms when it opens following conversion from its previous guise as offices. Other facilities will include Rycrofte’s all-day restaurant, coffee house and bar, as well as a gym, meeting rooms and private dining venues.
The property is owned by Dominus and the hotel will be managed by its Dominus Hospitality arm.
Nick Smart, Hilton’s vice president, development, UK, Ireland and the Nordics, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Dominus on another exciting hotel project, which will undoubtedly become a popular addition to our portfolio.”
Preet Ahluwalia, CEO of Dominus, added: “Since we acquired the site on Great Tower Street in 2023, we’ve taken a sustainable design approach to refurbishing and upgrading the existing building, to create a hotel that pays tribute to the past and offers an exceptional guest experience in the heart of London.”
