Wyndham has continued its rapid expansion around Europe by opening a new Dolce by Wyndham property in the Danish city of Aalborg.
Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg, Dolce by Wyndham becomes the lifestyle brand’s fourth location in Denmark and is part of Wyndham’s growth across the region, which has seen the addition of more than 60 properties in EMEA so far in 2025.
The latest property, which has been a hotel since 1969, is housed within a 16-storey building in Aalborg city centre. It has been “newly remodelled” by Comwell Hotels as part of its transformation to become a Dolce by Wyndham hotel.
The hotel offers 198 rooms and suites, which have all been upgraded as part of the renovation. Other facilities include a restaurant, bar, fitness centre and 13 meeting rooms across four floors with a total capacity for up to 365 guests.
Dolce by Wyndham already has properties in the Danish cities of Aarhus, Copenhagen and Odense.
Dimitris Manikis, president EMEA at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said: "Dolce continues to shine across EMEA, offering hotel owners a lifestyle brand that pairs strong commercial pull with the kind of unfiltered, experience-driven charm today's travellers crave.
“The Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg is one of the city's most established hotels, and its transformation delivers a fresh, authentic stay for everyone from culture seekers and culinary explorers to conference-goers and creative teams."
