Extended-stay brand Wilde has continued its expansion in continental Europe with the opening of properties in Vienna and Lisbon.
The new locations are the first Wilde locations in both Austria and Portugal. The brand, owned by Dublin-based Staycity Group, is also planning to open aparthotels in Amsterdam and Porto later this year.
Wilde, Vienna Fleischmarkt includes 136 hotel rooms, studios and one-bedroom apartments within a historic former post office in the city centre. The ground floor communal area includes a lobby, bar, shop and café, as well as spaces to work, dine or relax.
The brand’s Lisbon aparthotel is located on Rua Castilho, just north of the city’s downtown area. Wilde, Lisbon Liberdade features 95 hotel rooms and studio apartments, as well as a co-working mezzanine area seating up to 30 people. Other facilities include a bar, lounge, café-deli, restaurant and courtyard.
Wilde’s managing director Kelly Morgan said: “Like other Wilde’s, Lisbon and Vienna both focus on offering high levels of guest service, making them the perfect choice for both business and leisure travellers and in particular for the new generation of digital nomads, whether they’re staying for two nights or two months.”
The brand already operates properties in Berlin, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Manchester and four locations in London.
