Hotel group Accor is bringing together 10 leading corporate clients from across Europe to discuss the key topics affecting business travel and is looking for travel managers to join in.
The hotel firm’s Masters of Travel advisory board is due to hold its annual meeting at Sofitel Frankfurt Opera in Germany on 24 May.
The advisory board includes senior leaders across industries such as pharmaceuticals, entertainment, technology, finance, industrial equipment and professional services from around Europe.
Key topics will include hotel pricing, development and sustainability at the hybrid meeting that will include both in-person attendees and others who will connect virtually.
Accor is also inviting contributions from corporate travel managers who can share their questions, insights and needs with the advisory board, which will also help form part of the Masters of Travel white paper to be published in June.
Sophie Hulgard, SVP sales, Northern Europe at Accor and co-host of Masters of Travel, said: “We believe in and understand the incredible power and value of business travel, of the coming together of teams to reconnect, to grow culture, to strategise and to close deals.
“Today more meetings can take place on Zoom and Teams, this is efficient business and has a positive impact on time and corporate carbon footprints. What’s left is necessary and purposeful travel that adds true impact to businesses and professionals.
“This is what Masters of Travel will discuss, how do we continue to improve essential corporate travel and meet the needs of business travellers today and tomorrow and build the future of business travel.”
