Business Travel Show Europe has announced the six companies competing in this year’s Business Travel Innovation Faceoff at the two-day event in June.
Pitching to a panel of judges in a bid to be crowned the winner of the 2023 event are extended stay platform 3Sixty, data correction system The Data Angel, EY’s Sustainable Travel Approval Tool, tech provider QuadLabs, profiles specialist Travlr ID and behavioural influencer Tripkicks.The companies will each pitch their technology on 28 June on the showfloor at the ExCeL London exhibition centre – where the audience will also have an opportunity to grill participants – with the winner being announced in a session in the same location starting at 13.40 on 29 June.
Judges for the 2023 competition are Steve Clagg, travel technology manager, Microsoft; Cindy Van der Elst, global meetings & events manager and global fleet manager, Kimberly Clark; Ian Spearing, innovation & technology leader, EY; and last year’s winner Daniel Price, co-founder and CEO of Jyrney. Judges who work with presenters’ companies will recuse themselves from scoring those competitors.

This year’s contestants will show new solutions for helping travellers make more sustainable choices, increase control over travel profiles, provide more information at the time of booking, automate end-to-end travel booking and expense processes, enhance selection of extended stay properties and improve companies’ data on meetings,” add Meyer.Previous winners include Jyrney in 2022 and Grapevine in 2021.• Organised by the BTN Group, Business Travel Show Europe takes place at the ExCeL London exhibition centre on 28-29 June, featuring more than 200 suppliers and nearly 40 seminars, masterclasses and panel debates.
