Spanish carrier Iberia has increased its flights to the US by 15 per cent for the new summer season, including the resumption of seasonal flights between Madrid and San Francisco.
The IAG-owned airline will operate three weekly services on the Madrid-San Francisco route until 27 October, which represents a 45 per cent rise in seats compared with its 2022 capacity.
Flights will be operated on Airbus A330-200 aircraft with a total of 288 seats across economy, premium economy and business cabins.
Iberia is flying to eight US cities this summer, as well as to Puerto Rico, including up to two daily flights to New York and one service per day to Dallas. Other destinations include Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Boston and Washington DC.
Sister carrier Level is also flying non-stop from Barcelona to San Francisco this summer with four services per week.
